Overview
Marvel at how the SFX team at Warner Bros. created some of the movies’ scariest characters, including an animatronic foetal Lord Voldemort, and visit Privet Drive; home of Harry’s dreadful aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. In the costume section, see up close in incredible detail the wardrobes of characters such as Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and the students of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
No visit would be complete without visiting Platform 9¾, and on this tour, you’ll have a chance to snap a photo with the trolley on your way to catch the Hogwarts Express.
TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT (15th May – 8th September 2025)
WALK IN THE SHOES OF A CHAMPION THIS SUMMER AT WARNER BROS. STUDIO TOUR LONDON – THE MAKING OF HARRY POTTER
Harry Potter fans are invited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with a brand-new feature dedicated to the film.
During Harry’s fourth year at Hogwarts, he is mysteriously selected to take part in the Triwizard Tournament, despite being under the qualifying age. During the contest, Harry is put through a series of fearsome challenges as he comes face-to-face with a fire-breathing dragon, retrieves his friends from the Black Lake and faces obstacles and creatures along the way.
The Studio Tour invites visitors to go behind-the-scenes of the Triwizard Tournament and discover how filmmakers created the competition with never-before-seen secrets to be revealed.
Spellbinding Special Effects
Want to know how filmmakers shot underwater and created the Hungarian Horntail Dragon? Experience our brand-new Backlot Stage, where our Interactors will reveal the Secrets of Special Effects. Enjoy this new indoor space, with a digital screen, stage and tiered seating, as we share filmmaking magic that has never been seen before at the Studio Tour.
New Magical Costumes
As well as Mad Eye Moody’s entrance to the Great Hall, famous wizarding schools will also be brought to life. Experience demonstrations reminiscent of the Beauxbaton and Durmstrang students’ arrival at Hogwarts and look out for their iconic costumes, as seen on-screen. Wizarding journalist, Rita Skeeter, will also be poised, ready to write her next poison pen article. Keep an eye out for her iconic costumes and self-writing quill.
DARK ARTS (12th September – 9th November 2025)
Returning for the spooky season, Dark Arts will see the Great Hall ceiling decorated with over 100 floating pumpkins as well as a Hallowe’en feast of lollipops and red apples dressed along the tables. Follow the Dark Mark trail, try your wand combat moves against Death Eaters in a live duel as they storm the Studio Tour, all before walking down a darker Platform 9 ¾ and a spookier Diagon Alley.
