Overview
Since March 2022, the Amsterdam Museum can be found on the Amstel, in the building of the Hermitage.
With a completely new range of exhibitions, public programs, and children's activities. Here, the Amsterdam Museum will display an entirely new collection that showcases the mainstream and marginal history of Amsterdam.
In the permanent chronological presentation: Panorama Amsterdam, well-known and unknown stories about, and perspectives on, Amsterdam's past give an impression of how Amsterdam has formed and is still developing.
The current temporary exhibitions hand over the floor to residents and lovers of the city to show 'their Amsterdam'.
