Overview

The City Sightseeing hop-on hop-off bus covers the island from north to south and east to west on this 1-day ticket. You can get on and off at any stop you choose and visit the places that interest you most. There are so many to choose from.

The island’s capital is Valletta, the smallest capital city in the European Union. It’s full of marvellous architecture, from its time as home to the Order of St. John, a medieval Catholic army without a country, which made the city its base in the 16th century. So, make sure you hop off here and walk its incredible streets and soak up that history.

To go even further back in time, hop off at the Ta' Skorba & Ta' Hagrat Temples. These are the amazing ruins of Neolithic buildings that are more than five thousand years old and among the world’s oldest religious sites. Another spectacular sight is the Blue Grotto, a series of stunning sea caves that looks like something out of a movie. You may well recognise them as they’ve featured in quite a few.

If you want some time to relax and take a stroll around Spinola Bay or maybe head to St George’s Bay and enjoy its delightful beach. For a wilder beach experience, make sure you visit Golden Bay on the island’s west coast. The sunsets there are absolutely incredible.
