Our adventure through the green and blue island begins when we leave Skopelos town from the Dolphin of Skopelos office at 9am letting the bus do all the demanding work, until we reach a height of 340 meters and the area of Pirgos.

Overview
The route is a pleasant downhill track (appr. 6 km), walking through the breathtaking scenery filled with olive, cypress, fig, and pine trees. It is estimated that Skopelos has between five and eight million pines and a variety of flowers and plants.
Our first stop is at the local vineyard, then we make a short stop at the small remote church of the Panagitsa (Virgin Mary) for a ten-minute break, and then continue our stroll down towards the mesmerizing view of the sea.
Our hike will include views of Pelion on the Greek mainland, the Island of Evia, and the Pagasetic Gulf. The destination of our route is Panormos, where you have the option to relax on the beach and have lunch.
We return to Skopelos town at 14:30pm.
