Coming to Thessaloniki is like visiting a great museum. There are up to 15 monuments in the city that have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. During your visit you will be able to see the heritage of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empire in the architecture of the houses and buildings.
The tour starts next to one of the city's landmarks, the White Tower, also known as Lefkós Pýrgos. This tower was part of the ancient walls that surrounded the city. It is thirty metres high and from here you will have a breathtaking view of the coastline.
