ALONISSOS CRUISE

The cruise starts at 10:00 from the main Skopelos port. Firstly, heading to the small Island of Peristera, close to the west coast of Alonissos. During underwater archaeological research, an old shipwreck was discovered, and along with a series of other archaeological findings revealing the Sporades islands had been an important sea route since ancient times.

Overview
There are caves around the island where the Mediterranean monk seal “Monachus-monachus” safely lives and breeds.
If you are lucky enough, you may spot monk seals and dolphins….
On this cruise you will have the chance to pass by the “Two brothers” rock islands and via the idyllic southeast side of Alonissos.
The cruise will either take us to Leftos Yialos or Agios Dimitrios beach with the relevant free swim time to spend accordingly.
A buffet style lunch will be on board, pure Greek taste and flavors accompanied by house white wine and refreshments for the little ones.
Heading back to Skopelos we are about to take the final stop by the main port called Patitiri, here you may enjoy a walk around Patitiri or book the bus trip (extra cost) to the old town.
Visit the Alonissos Museum in Patitiri, located 30 meters from the harbor of Patitiri. A local museum which gave place to the cultural inheritance of the island. In addition to the historical items from Alonissos, the museum focuses on weapons and objects used in the early days by the pirates of the Aegean Sea.
Arriving back to Skopelos around 18:00
